Down Royal picks up the slack for the jumpers today and a notable jockey booking is Norman Williamson for the Fairyhouse scorer Gill's Honey in the £25,000 Mirror Handicap Chase. The tip looks worth taking up.

The forecast "soft to heavy" going will be no problem for the grey who was always travelling like a winner last Tuesday and came home 20 lengths clear of City West in a Beginners Chase.

As befits the prizemoney pot the dangers are numerous but a mare in Gill's Honey's current form must always be respected and Williamson's presence alone is a tip in itself.

The other rider to follow should be the top amateur Philip Fenton who rides La Colina, reappearing for the first time since December in the bumper, and Brown Paddy for Michael Hourigan in the maiden hurdle.

Placed behind Merchants Friend at Listowel last time, Brown Paddy had run over fences twice before that and the experience should have sharpened him up.
