Galway Utd 5 Malahide Utd 0GALWAY UNITED clinically brushed aside Malahide United in their clash at Terryland Park last night. Three three goals in the opening 22 minutes killed off the tie.
Rhys Meynell put Galway ahead in the fourth minuteand after 15 minutes Malahide defender Danny Butler put the ball in his own net.
Galway added a third on 22 when Anto Flood headed home a splendid Karl Sheppard cross.
Sheppard headed home a fourth after 47 minutes and substitute Cian McBrien added a fifth goal five minutes from time.
