Tomás Ó Flatharta on verge of being named Laois manager

Kerryman’s name will go before next county board meeting on October 21st

Tomás Ó Flatharta is on the verge of becoming the next Laois senior football manager. His name will go before the next meeting of the county board, due to be held on Monday, October 21st.

County PRO Brian Allen confirmed that the Kerry man who has also managed Westmeath and Galway had been the choice of the selection committee tasked with recommending a successor to Justin McNulty.

Allen declined to comment on local reports that former Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney had been among those interviewed.
