Limerick retained their place in Division Three after last year’s promotion. John Galvin is giving it another year at centrefield and has picked up form in the latter stages of the league after returning to the panel. Missed Ian Ryan last year but he’s back in harness. Will be upbeat about taking on Tipperary in the newly-seeded Munster championship.


Last good day: Three years ago a controversial win against Wexford earned Limerick their first All-Ireland quarter-final. Inevitably they drew Kerry.
