INTER MILAN striker Samuel Eto’o is a doubt for tonight’s Champions League visit of Dynamo Kiev despite being included in the squad, coach Jose Mourinho said.

The Cameroon international missed Saturday’s 5-0 win at Genoa with a foot problem but is being given until the last moment to prove his fitness, with Mario Balotelli suspended for the Group F game. Midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is also carrying a knock.

Balotelli played up front on his own at Genoa where the absence of fellow striker Diego Milito was also forgotten thanks to Inter’s powerful display.

Argentina’s Milito has been missing for three weeks with a hamstring injury but coach Jose Mourinho said there was an outside chance he could feature tonight, although midfielder Thiago Motta is out.

Dynamo are without goalkeeper Olexandr Shovkovskiy due to a stomach problem. Taking his place will be the experienced Stanislav Bogush or Oleksandr Rybka.

Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains doubtful for their meeting with Russian club Rubin Kazan, coach Pep Guardiola said yesterday.

The Swede missed Barca’s 0-0 draw at Valencia on Saturday after injuring his knee on international duty and Guardiola said a final decision would be taken today.

Even though the European Champions are top of the group after an away draw with Inter and a home win over Dynamo, the situation remained “tricky”, Guardiola said, and victory over bottom side Rubin was vital.

Rubin’s Spanish central defender Cesar Navas, who played for Malaga and Racing Santander before moving to Russia, said he hadn’t had to give coach Kurban Berdyev any help in preparing for the match.

“We see a lot of Spanish football on TV in Russia and the coach knows exactly what to expect,” Navas said. “He is always perfectly well prepared for our matches in Europe and in that sense he didn’t need any tips from me.”
