Aston Villa (5) V Charlton (19)

Aston Villa (5) V Charlton (19)

Villa striker Dion Dublin hopes to play despite a hernia problem and knee injury. Goalkeeper Mark Bosnich is likely to be left out as his Villa career faces an embarrassing finale, with Michael Oakes set to continue in goal.

Charlton's Simon Royce will not play any more part in the club's battle for Premiership survival, having undergone another round of operations on his knee, so Andy Petterson will be Alan Curbishley's goalkeeper. Hernia victim Paul Mortimer will also be missing following surgery but there is a chance of a recall for striker Clive Mendonca, who scored in Wednesday's reserve victory over Wycombe.
