Local player Ricky Elliott joined Andrew McCormick at the top of the leader board at the halfway stage in the Ulster Youth Championship at Royal Port rush yesterday. Elliott bettered his first round performance by 10 shots to hand in a 68 for a total of 146 as 32 players survived the halfway cut.
