The death has occurred of Peter Moore, who was at midfield on Meath’s All-Ireland SFC winning team in 1967.
A member of the Ballinabrackey club, he was the holder of four Leinster senior medals as well as one minor souvenir.
He was part of Meath’s trend-setting trip to Australia in 1968 and also played at Wembley and in New York.
