Kerry forward Colm Cooper trained for the first time in almost two weeks on Friday night as Kerry put the final touches to their preparations for their quarter-final against Mayo next Sunday.

Cooper, who sustained a groin strain while playing with his club Dr Crokes, had not trained with the rest of the panel as a precaution but he took part in a full training game in Fitzgerald Stadium and came through unscathed.

Kerry report no fresh injury worries and will select on Tuesday night after training.

Meanwhile, Mickey Harte last night declared a clean bill of health among his squad for next weekend's fourth-round qualifier against Monaghan.
