CLARE SHC Clonlara 1-14 Newmarket-on-Fergus 1-9: CLONLARA clinically dispatched Newmarket-on-Fergus in the county semi-final to remain on course to win back-to-back senior championships.

A 42nd minute goal from Donal Madden turned this semi-final decisively in Clonlara’s favour as they dug deep when playing against the wind in the second half and without the services of centre forward John Barry who was red-carded just before half-time.
