The Cheltenham bumper winner Florida Pearl is set to make his chasing debut at Navan on Saturday week.

The Navan EBF Novice Chase over two miles and six furlongs is trainer Willie Mullins' target for Florida Pearl, who hasn't raced since his impressive Cheltenham success in March. "Richard Dunwoody schooled him over 12 fences at Fairyhouse on Sunday and was very happy with him. Depending on what Florida Pearl does at Navan, we could then go for the Seamus Neville Chase on the Sunday of the Leopards town Christmas meeting, or a Beginners Chase the following day.

"He'll have to race against winners at Navan, but we will be happy to get a run into him," Mullins said.
