CATCH ME earned a 20 to 1 quote for the RSA Chase from William Hill after making a winning start to life over fences at Cork.
The Edward O’Grady-trained seven-year-old was a smart hurdler and looks a fair prospect over the larger obstacles after a straightforward success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Chase.
Settled mid-division early on, he was a bit slow at on the first circuit but always travelled with menace for Andrew McNamara.
He jumped two out just behind Fisher Bridge and the pair went over the last together, with the better leap coming from Catch Me. McNamara just had to push him out as the 9 to 10 favourite recorded a two-and-a-half-length success.
