DAVID HARRISON earned himself a two day suspension (November 22nd and 25th) after winning the final race of the Flat turf season on 20 to 1 shot Tonka at Folkestone yesterday.
The stewards found Harrison guilty of careless riding after his mount had drifted into second placed Compass Pointer in the last half furlong of the Denise Macklin Handicap.
However, the stewards allowed the Peter Makin trained gelding, who paid almost 39 to 1 on the Tote, to keep the first prize.
Other winners were more predictable, notably Arantxa, who landed a gamble from 9 to 2 down to 7 to 2 in the EBF Kathy Turner Maiden (Div 1).
The Newmarket trained filly absolutely bolted up after jockey Michael Fenton had sent her into the lead two furlongs out and she scored a runaway, four length victory over 2 to 1 favourite Mr Paradise.
The James Bethell trained Return of Amin ploughed through the testing ground to win the Beewood Coaches Nursery.
