JON CALLARD, out of favour for Bath's last two Courage League matches, returns to skipper the champions against bottom club Orrell on Saturday.

The former England full back, recently linked with a player coaching role at fourth division Worcester, takes over from England captain Phil de Glanville, who rests a toe injury.

Bath's seven other England tourists for Argentina all play though, while Scottish back row forward Eric Peters begins his comeback nine weeks after suffering a broken hand.

Matt Perry replaces de Glanville alongside Jeremy Guscott in midfield, moving from full back despite a two try display when Bath destroyed Leicester 47-9 last weekend.
