Blaze of Honour is confident choice

BLAZE Of Honour, who swept to a majestically easy win in a conditions hurdle at Navan last month is on the upgrade

BLAZE Of Honour, who swept to a majestically easy win in a conditions hurdle at Navan last month is on the upgrade. She may lack the experience of some of her rivals in tomorrow's Proudstown Handicap Hurdle over the same course and distance, but in an open race is taken to win for the all conquering Aidan O'Brien stable.

Balawhar cut little ice behind Miltonfield at Leopardstown last time out, but Metastasio has run consistently well in some competitive handicap hurdles in recent times. Fiddlers Bow VI, runner up to Ladbroke runner Black Queen at Leopardstown, may give Blaze Of Honour most to do at these weights.

Aidan O'Brien may also land the Navan Novice Hurdle with Toast The Spreece, who was not extended when winning here last month, and the Beginners Chase with Corket, who is said to be jumping well at home.

Stable companion Leamhog looks held by Toni's Tip on Limerick running, but both may be beaten by the Dessie Hughes trained Misty Moments in the Novices Hurdle. I leave the Trim Handicap Chase to Doonandoras, a faller at Limerick.
