The Matthews Final. Blackpool came from 3-1 behind to clinch a remarkable Wembley win, with Stanley Matthews setting up the winning goal for Bill Perry.

1966 World Cup final, England 4 West Germany 2.

They think it's all over - it is now! Geoff Hurst completes a historic hat-trick to give England a dramatic extra time victory over West Germany in the World Cup final at Wembley. The match finished 2-2 after 90 minutes but Hurst struck twice in extra time to give England their only ever World Cup.

1979 FA Cup final, Arsenal 3 Man Utd 2.

Alan Sunderland scored a dramatic late winner to spoil United's thrilling fightback. Brian Talbot and Frank Stapleton give Arsenal a two-goal cushion but Gordon McQueen and Sammy McIlroy put United level, only for Sunderland to steer home Graham Rix's cross.

Ricky Villa scored one of the alltime great FA Cup goals to give Spurs victory. Villa weaved his way through the City defence late in the game to score his second goal of the night.

Arsenal went to Anfield needing to win their last game of the season by two clear goals to clinch an unlikely Championship. Alan Smith got the first and Michael Thomas popped up in the final minute to score and clinch the title.

1999 Champions' Cup final, Man Utd 2 Bayern Munich 1.

United trail to an early Mario Basler free-kick and struggle to force their way back into the game. The final is slipping away from them when Alex Ferguson introduces substitutes Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Sheringham snatches a dramatic equaliser 40 seconds into injury time and Solskjaer provides a sensational winner right at the death.
