GAELIC GAMES:KILDARE CAPTAIN Donna Berry is relishing the prospect of locking horns with champions Dublin in today's All-Ireland women's football championship qualifier.
The two beaten Leinster semi-finalists go head-to-head at Pearse Park in Longford in a televised winner-takes-all clash.
“You have to beat the best to be the best so why not?” said Berry. “They’re in the same situation as us, having lost by a point in the Leinster semi-final.
“There used to be a gap between the top teams in Leinster and the rest but now you have ourselves and Meath back in the mix.”
In the Leinster semi-finals, just a point separated winners Meath and Dublin, while Laois edged out Kildare by the same margin.
