Only one point separated Ballinrobe and Ballyhaunis Community Schools with 10 minutes to play in this Connacht Colleges Senior `A' quarter-final at Claremorris yesterday. But five unanswered points in the closing stages gave Ballinrobe victory.
The winners led by 0-3 to 0-1 at the interval and stormed through with two points each from Mark Walkin and Paul Doherty and another from Adrian Coyne to seal a hard earned victory.
