The Co Meath club witnessed a pair of aces at the weekend and they came on the golf course, not in the card room. A temporary green at the par three seventh proved no deterrent to either Tom Kelly or Christopher McNamara who both holed their tee shots. Kelly's effort helped him to 40 points and third place in the competition. Roger O'Farrell holed-in-one at the tricky eighth at Enniscrone and Woodbrook stalwart Pauline Martin aced the 13th at Castle as she helped her team defeat the home side in the Townsend Foursomes. The eight-handicapper hit a eight iron for the second hole-in-one of her career.
