Ó Ruairc seals dramatic victory

LEINSTER COLLEGES SF A CHAMPIONSHIP Coláiste Eoin1-12 Good Counsel 3-5:A last-gasp point from Oisín Ó Ruairc helped Coláiste Eoin advance to the semi-final following a hard-earned victory over Good Counsel in Bray yesterday afternoon.

Counsel’s Darragh Joyce netted within two minutes but Coláiste Eoin drew level by the interval. Cathal Bolger’s well-taken 38th minute goal helped Counsel’s cause but Ó Ruairc’s superb goal had Coláiste Eoin in control until Donncha O’Connor’s late goal ensured a gripping finale.
