The solution then suggested by the experts was a bus and possibly trolley bus systems providing maximum road mobility. In almost all major European cities, from Moscow to London, from Madrid and Paris to Vienna, underground railways have provided successful solutions to traffic congestion.

I think the people of Dublin deserve to be told why there is such a resistance here to a public transport system which will in effect take a major part of traffic off the streets. What are the arguments against a Dublin underground Can anyone tell me why the capital city of the emerald tiger, can't afford an underground?
