Madam, – It seems a shame to be reading about anybody considering the demolition of so-called ghost estates that are dotted in almost every county in Ireland. These places were built with hard labour. Even in their unfinished state, they would be treasured property in a less well-off country than ours.
Why not open up a debate as to what to do with them? Why not advertise this nationally and internationally? Why not consider using them as co-ops for creative innovators, artists, musicians and the like? – Yours, etc,
