Sir, - The letter from Rev Joseph Parker (January 29th), in praise of Canon Bill Wynne, awakened remembrances of Bloody Friday in Belfast and the death of young Stephen Parker, and the 900-plus wooden crosses outside the City Hall in memory of each of the victims of violence, and the prayers and vigils that attended them in the "Witness for Peace" movement with its challenging question: "What price peace?" - and the sadness of the Parkers' departure from Ireland.
Blessings on you, Joe, as we still battle with your searching question. - Yours, etc., Una O'Higgins Malley
