Sir, - There's many a true word spoken in jest. When David Bradshaw opined (July 6th) that the ultimate unholy aims of Messrs O Bradaigh and Paisley were so similar as to suggest an alliance, for which suitable names were to be forwarded, I hardly expected this tongue-in-cheek proposal to be given credibility in the form of a public announcement by Harold Gracey of the Orange Order, who has in effect admitted that he has taken none other than Gerry Adams as his mentor and role model (The Irish Times, July 8th).
