A chara, – While driving through Dublin en route to catch the 9pm ferry back to Holyhead, after a business trip to Ireland, the English-registered car in which I and a colleague were travelling suffered a puncture on the East Wall Road. As my colleague and I stood by it with our hazard lights on, people in four separate passing vehicles (two taxi cabs and two Garda vehicles) stopped to offer us any assistance they could.
First, I would like to thank these individuals for their acts of kindness; and second, state that this was my colleague’s first trip to Ireland, and this has made an incredibly good impression on him, to the point where he intends to return for a holiday with his family. – Is mise,
