THE BRITISH ISLES

Sir, - Would all those good, Irish people reading and contributing to this debate ask themselves why they continue to use the (to us Welsh) grossly insulting "Little Britain" as the name of our country?

There is a well established. Celtic name for that Celtic country, and it is mystifying to us that our Celtic cousins should not use it. Until they do, I shall continue to respond to enquiry as to my origin with "Is as an Cymru me", however incorrect that may be as Gaelic. - Is mise le meas,
