Sir, - I would like to add a footnote to the recent article about my family's return to Ireland from America (EL, March 13th). An important point I had hoped to convey was the warm welcome and total support extended to us by Mrs Nuala O'Neill and her staff at Belgrove Senior Girls' School, Clontarf. Their dedication, courtesy and genuine concern for the welfare of each child are deeply appreciated in the community and represent for our family all that is good about the Ireland we have returned to.
I was sorry that the opportunity to acknowledge and thank Mrs O'Neill was lost, and am happy to do so now. - Yours, etc.
