Sir, - Contrary to the view expressed by Ann Hyland (March 27th), I believe that the Minister for Education and Science, Dr Michael Woods, has acted honestly and with integrity throughout the ASTI dispute. At all times he told it as it was, and how it had to be.
Dr Woods has served in a number of ministries throughout his distinguished career and is well respected for his abilities. The students, parents and indeed the trade union movement have much to thank the Minister and his Department for. - Yours, etc.,
