Madam, - John Bruton recently posed some questions about sex education books for schools which have now been withdrawn for further examination.
I wish someone of his stature would question some daytime programmes on RTÉ, especially now that children are on school holidays. The American presenter Riki Lake had a show last Tuesday featuring topics such as "Fifteen years old, pregnant and still sleeping around" and "Pregnant but does not know which one is the father".
I am sure these are not the worst and the whole show is unbelievably bad. - Yours, etc.,
