Madam, – Sinead Gleeson (Life Culture, October 6th), writing about the reprinting of the Gus Martin edited Soundings, notes it "culminated with poems by Thomas Kinsella, the only living poet on its pages".
Soundings was published in 1969 and I think she will find it included poems by my dear friend and Irish Timesesteemed book reviewer for many years, Austin Clarke (1896-1974). – Yours, etc,
