Sir, – Colin Cosgrove finds it “shocking” that AIB should introduce a requirement that one must maintain at least €2,500 in one’s current account in order to qualify for free banking (April 13th).
Others might find it shocking that the something-for-nothing mindset – which brought the country to its current sorry state by enabling so many years of disastrous Fianna Fáil government – is still alive and well in Ireland today. – Yours, etc,
