Madam, - Further to your report on road safety for the coming winter season (Oct. 25th), the safety of children walking to and from school could be improved if, instead of the almost regulation dark colours, parents' associations selected uniforms which are more readily visible to motorists. Alternatively, high-visibility jackets or trimming could enhance the children's safety. - Yours, etc,
