Remembering Derek Crozier

Madam, – I was so sorry to hear of the death of Derek Crozier and would like to pass on my sympathy to his family

Madam, – I was so sorry to hear of the death of Derek Crozier and would like to pass on my sympathy to his family. Like so many others he has been part of my life for many years. My late father started me on the road of Crosaire and I’ve travelled down that happy path for the past 30 years. I was privileged to meet Mr Crozier when he was in Dublin and treasure that memory. Can I add my voice to those who say please, please keep him with us and when you’ve run out of his recent crosswords, just reprint the old ones. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dilis. – Yours, etc,

CHRISTINA MANNION,

Madam, – We have lost a unique character, but what a legacy! Please celebrate his genius by publishing Crosaire from the beginning. I feel privileged to have “known” him. Ní bheidh a leitheid ann arís.

Solomon’s Court,
