Sir, As I recall it took 11 years to get the Ombudsman Bill through. Three years down the line we are still awaiting the Freedom of Information Act. I won't mention a repeal of the Official Secrets Act.
A bill entitled the Intoxicating Liquor Bill seems to have gone through in a week. This Bill makes it possible not only to purchase liquor on a Sunday, but all day Sunday.
Is there some rationale or logic here I seem to be missing? Yours, etc.,
