Sir, - I am so thankful not to be the mother/sister/aunt of the victim shot on Ellis Quay in Dublin on September 5th. Regardless of the circumstances, how horrific it must have been for them to see one of their family in such an undignified condition on front of the national newspaper.
I was disappointed in The Irish Times at the lack of respect shown to a person and his family. Is it really necessary to sensationalise sad events such as this one?
