Sir, - It's sad that so much pressure appears to have been put on some delegates to the recent conference on women's ordination in the Catholic Church.
Jesus might not have called women to be priests 2,000 years ago, but He is still with us and could well be calling them in the very different world of the 21st century.
Could not the Catholic Church just think about it, allow open discussion and public prayer? - Yours, etc.,
