Sir, – Well done to Siobhán Long for highlighting the rich variety of traditional music throughout the country and at reasonable prices (Life & Culture, November 7th). Traditional music and song may not solve the recession but it can help dispel the gloom. Might we correct one error in her article. The Clé Club has had a nomadic existence and from this Wednesday (November 9th) moves to the Stag’s Head, Dame Court, off Dame Street, Dublin 2. The move to a new night and a new venue is aimed at bringing the music to a wider audience. The session starts at 9pm but musicians, singers and listeners will gather from 8pm. – Yours, etc,
