Sir, – I am in no position to argue that a gay or lesbian couple’s relationship is inferior to a heterosexual one (Canon Charles Kenny, October 5th) but I know that it is different from it. I strongly support the Church of Ireland teaching on marriage – while accepting that it may change in the future – and believe that I am neither “fundamentalist nor biblicist” in my views. – Yours, etc,
