Sir, - I refer to the statement in An Irishman's Diary of April 14th that Markievicz Pool in Townsend Street has gone.
Markievicz Pool has been demolished and is presently being rebuilt. It will have a gymnasium and coffee shop in addition to swimming facilities when the development has been completed. This is a clear demonstration of the Corporation's commitment to the enhancement of its facilities. - Yours, etc.,
