Sir, - Can anybody explain why a UK-published magazine printed with international cover prices is cheaper in Ireland than a UK-published magazine printed with only the UK cover price?
For example, the Economist with a UK cover price of £2.40 sterling has a printed Irish cover price of £2.50, but any other UK magazine with the same UK cover price and no printed Irish cover price will generally sell for between £3.00 and £3.63 depending on the VAT rate applicable. - Yours, etc.,
