Sir, - For many years women in the banks, public service, etc., had to give up their jobs when they got married. As a result these women (myself included) were denied an income of their own and also lost all pension rights.
It is about time the Government compensated us for the sacrifices we made by providing us with pensions.
I feel we are more deserving than the fat cats in the legal profession who were recently provided with large pensions which they hardly deserved. - Yours, etc.,
