Madam, - As usual, my colleague Maurice Neligan is correct in his surgical dissection of the forthcoming motor tax increases (Health Supplement Nov 27th).
The middle classes, ie, those who generate the income to run this country, have more than paid their dues to this Government to fund their vehicles no matter what size.
An administration which seeks to tax a problem out of existence has run out of ideas and selective taxation is a cowardly concession to Green ideology. - Yours, etc,
