Madam, - The absurdity of the phrase "going forward" popular among business people and politicians was highlighted by your Budget supplement (December 4th). A spokesman for the Irish Road Hauliers' Association, commenting on proposed increase in toll charges is quoted as saying: "It will make it even more difficult for hauliers, 'going forward'." Are we to be treated to the sight of articulated vehicles trying to reverse through the toll gates? - Yours, etc.,
