Sir, - I read that we are to have a new task force to advise on the Foresight Foundation.
This task force appears to be composed of 10 men. There is much rejoicing that the Irish "universities" will have access to such substantial funding for "applied research".
As a member of the other half of both the human race and third level education in Ireland, I am perplexed by the use of the word "Foresight". - Yours, etc.,
