A chara, - I write regarding Ronan Keane's letter of October 15th. He is clearly of the opinion that the "best start" in life, "via the best education" is to be found in private schools.
When are middle- and upper -class parents going to realise that learning in a comfort zone surrounded exclusively with people from your own social class is not an education? When will they see that scoring 600 points in the Leaving Certificate is not an education?
