A chara, It is depressing to see a quality paper, such as The Irish Times, publish such drivel as John Waters's page length article on "Euro-bullies. With all the massive evil in the world, including our own country, and the sense of urgency which it gives rise to among good and thinking people, what a waste to give up a whole column whinging about the nuisance of cavalcades of European bureaucrats being escorted by Gardai through the streets of the capital. One paragraph on this subject would have sufficed and then on to more urgent business.
In fact, I could say most ordinary people find these cavalcades an interesting and pleasing spectacle.
Or could it be that John Waters is simply anti the European idea" but is unwilling or unable to produce sound arguments for his case. Mise lemeas,
