Sir, - We are totally opposed to the current proposal by Dublin Port Company to reclaim another large piece of our bay.
We publicly request the Minister for the Marine, Dr Michael Woods, to extend the public consultation period to give concerned citizens time to lodge their submissions with his Department. This would not create a precedent as one of his predecessors took this line the last time a similar application was made by Dublin Port, some 11 years ago. - Yours, etc.,
