Sir, - On Friday, February 6th, a combined rugby team, made up of players from Dublin and Belfast insurance offices, played their annual match against the Edinburgh Insurance XV before the ill-fated international against Scotland.

A group of 20 players and supporters from Belfast arrived by train at Connolly Station. One of them was stopped and questioned by the immigration authorities. By pure coincidence, he was the only black member of the party. He has lived all his life in Belfast.
