Sir, - The proposals for improvement in the operation of the courts are welcome.One aspect the casual visitor finds fascinating is how everybody else manages to hear what is being said and decided, with or without microphones, switched on or not. Reporters, in particular, would almost seem to be possessed of bionic hearing at times to be able to catch even the gist of things.Justice must not only be seen to be done, but be heard to be done. - Yours, etc.,
