Sir, - May I congratulate Frank McDonald on his fine piece about the proposed convention centre for Dublin. The dithering, bungling incompetence of the government, and in particular Mr Enda Kenny, in relation to this issue, is difficult to comprehend.
However, all may not be lost. A change of government in the forthcoming election could see a Fianna Fail/PD Coalition looking more favourably on O'Connell Street as the ideal location for the convention centre. This would be the fillip that the unfashionable, north inner city so richly deserves. - Yours, etc.,
